I can buy this oldie in perfect shape, but for Exakta mount when I prefer M42 . It looks like bit different than usual Olympic Sonnar, so I wonder if the optical quality is the same. From pictures I can see that it has 20 lamels, glass is clean and paint is really untouched, looks like new one. Got also even lower offers to P6 mount, but its kinda harder to get P6 adapter for NEX. Exakta->NEX is much cheaper and its sold by much more sellers on ebay, so I can probably get it even faster.

So could you advice if Exakta version is fine to buy and even better if anyone has experience with Exakta->Nex adapter, if it works fine or has some hidden flaws like problems with infinity focusing or similar...

Welcome, quality is not dependent from mount and not really depend either from variants oldest can be good as latest black MC or even better. I did try 10+ copies and one of the best from all a garbage looking first type lens.

Thanks for info, had same idea but wanted to have some confirmation Smile

And any chance that you have any experience with exakta>nex adapter? Couldnt find any special info about compatibility, so hope it would just work, but still - I'm going to buy lens before adapter, so dont want to end up with some surprise like focusing problems...

In 180 mm lens, peak an apo telyt leica 3,4/180. In good condition, should be near $ 800-900.
