Hi guys!
I'm currently trying to figure out best ways of using my Soligor 200mm f2.8 MC and the best way to process the pictures afterwards.
So here my current lineup of Black&White pictures converted thru Aperture3, done on the way to and from work yesterday with some time to spare.

Interesting set! I really like #2. A focal length this long on a crop camera can be quite a challenge on the streets! _________________ Graham - Moderator

Man,
The contrast variation on the photos is soo large, one shot with too much, another with so few, i don't know if it's intentionally or not, exception made with the shot frontally against the light source: this one will lack of contrast by nature, if i can say this way.
The composition is correct, amazing, except of with the shot of the man with the koala on the back, i don't understand that shot, neither technically or artistically. In which aspect are you facing more difficulty, exposure correction contrast curve setup or other?
Cheers,

Hey RSalles, the contrast is mostly intentional. I like when black & white photos have deep blacks and bright whites but you are right with man with mouse on his back. This one seems to be overdone for the web. I took out a little contrast and here it is again, much better I think! This shot was not ment to be artistic and it's technically a little shaky because I saw him in the last moment before he crossed behind the car and a truck came by between us. I just raised my NX and had to take a photo of the waving mouse on his back!
Actually I'm not facing any difficulty in post processing, I just haven't checked the old man after uploading!
Thanks for the critique by the way! _________________ www.MoWePhoto.de

Imho 200mm are too long for street photography, esp. at wide apertures. _________________ I'm not a collector, I'm a tester
