At the very least you have spare parts , put them into a body of a 44Mx,
Removing the optics, and soaking the helicoid in penetrating oil may be enough to let you get it apart to clean and lube.

I've tried to soak it for quite a while, but it didn't work out at all .
But the remaining parts may come in handy when I'll find another broken one .
