Hey Guys,
my first post in here, yay .
And I have a question: I saw some old Russian Cine Glases in Oct-18/19 mount, and the examples from the forum, and was stunned. !y Question is, if I can adapt these glases to my beloved Pentax kx....Following the english Wikipedia-article the ffd of the oct-19 seems to be 61-ish mm long, and Pentaxs is just 45.46mm long...So there should be enough room, right?
I would love to hear that it's possible

Well, depends if you talk about back focal length or register. The former is measured from the last element, while the latter is measured from the mount (allowing protrusion of elements/mount) - that can make a big difference.
Another point is, if the image diameter is large enough to allow sensor coverage (?). _________________ Klaus - Admin

Timo, welcome to the forum. I also live in Bremen, great to see another MF fan nearby. Unfortunately I don't have any experience with Oct mount, so can't help you here, but I am sure someone will. _________________ Many lenses and some film bodies for sale here: http://forum.mflenses.com/canon-fd-minolta-md-c-mounts-m42-pentax-and-more-t50465.html

Hey guys,
Thank you all for the quick replys...I saw some adapters, too, but the prices where in insane regions...
What I saw on the forum yesterday was a user who build an adapter out of the shell of an old Pentacon 50 1.8...he just fixed the optical system in the Helicoid and tadaa, he had an awesome lens...a bit Frankenstein looking, but hey, who cares, right?
The only prblem on this story was, that this mod was for the Nex, so using this on my Pentax is a nono...I will try to find the thread, and I will link it to you...
But thanks for the welcoming, and for the answers. |
