Hello guys
Where are these adapters? I can't find them anymore! now I can olny find some Kipon ones with a glass element! this doesn't make any sense... the flange distance of the Alpha mount is 44.50 and the OM is 46mm, no glass required!!
I used OM lenses on my Alpha 700 long time ago with no problems... but I can't find this adapter anymore... it's very similar to the M42-Alpha that I also have...

I need this urgent for a project... I'm using my A77 for timelapse and I need to use some OM lenses...

thanks!

There is mechanical limitation which does not allow to make a glass-less adapter.

The diameter of OM mount is 46 mm. The A-mount has a diameter of 49.7 mm which does not allow rooms to make the adapter. Canon EOS mount has a diameter of 54 mm so there is plenty of room to allow placement of the lens locking mechanism for the OM lens.
