Found this lens at a yard sale for $20. Mint condition. It's pre-AI but with the AI kit installed.

Congrats! I bought for 2x more a crap looking one. This lens a very nice performer with excellent colors.

I just nabbed one of these on EBay from an Australian seller for $50.

It's highly rated so I hope there's no issues with it or it's not a dud copy. Here's an example -

Will post pictures and samples when I get it. It's non AI so I will have to convert it.

I've added this seller on the Buyer Resources thread because a few issues have emerged after I had already won the auction. It's now apparent that there's mild fungus on the front element. I still need to find out more but I still think it's worth $50.

The seller seems to be realising that full and proper disclosure is how to do things in future. I'd still be wary about dealing with this fellow.
