Voigtlander 40/1.4 Leica-M a7r

This tiny lens in silver looks pretty cool on the 7r. At f1.4 it has slightly vignette, less contrast, but sharp and fine. MFD is still the same.

Jpeg engine from 7r is not as good as raw->jpg. Dynamic range looks like d800.

I can easely recognize the signature of both the 7r and the Voigtlander in these pictures! Very Happy

Spring is coming for sure. This year had been warmer than before - ('warmer' in my context is still freezing to death - i prefer tropical climate).

Except for looking cool on mirrorless, compact and light weight, i don't think this lens' image is exceptional. Bokeh is a bit harsh, contrast less at f1.4. It's a compromise between 35-50mm at f1.4. The mentioned properties are enough for me to keep it. On a7r it's just lovely. Post processing with minor contrast boost does help a lot.

What a crasy picture is no.7:
Lady on the left side seems to hover, feet do not touch ground.
Lady behind her topples to the right, there seems to be action in Oslo! Laughing
