Being respectful of the choice you offered, and limiting myself to that choice only:
I would choose whichever lens has the better coatings. Oftentimes (not always) this means choosing the newer lens. |

In others choice, the mine. I prefer the lens with more resolution power.
Can add contrast with PP, less affectation of the image quality than adding sharpness, I guess.
