Quick and dirty (and cheap) solution - lighter fluid (naptha).
I have fixed (sort of) plenty of 1950's-70's all metal lenses with a few drops. Its not a perfect fix and you need to be careful of plastic parts if any. Focus is not always perfectly smooth, because the old grease is still bad, but they are usable.
