These shots are like from another universe for a Central European.

Some of these would definitely fit on the "glow lens" thread! Nice work. I especially like the night shots!

Yes I like how this lens "glows" too and Central Europe is so neat and tidy!

It is a DKL Xenon 50/1.9 full open on a Nikon D750.

I took a comparison shot of the bank on the other (dry) day using a DKL Rodenstock 50/2.8 full open and the touch is quite different.

Thanks bernhardas... Smile I got my adapter in Hong Kong and it should be a low price Chinese made one like this: http://tw.taobao.com/item/521470019182.htm?spm=a1z3o.7695283.0.0.QWtCMC

The rain continues tonight - same lens but with clarity boosted in lightroom.

Nice shots!

Eastern cities are so much more *alive* then Western ones! All that street buzz is very addictive to me.

Fantastic! So much nightlife energy.

The second set is Blade Runner-like.

Great series of pictures, the vibrancy of the city is bursting out of the images. Too much excitement for a country boy like me though. Wink

Thanks for the feedback and the weather turned good today - time for some more Schneider soft on the way home.

This lens is indeed soft but I really like the rendering.

Is there any major difference between DKL, Exakta and M42 versions ? Also, what about the Schneider Xenon 50 1.8 for QBM mount ?

In general, the later the lens, the better sharpness at WO and higher contrast/better flare resistant. The earlier copy has many blades aperture while the later one are mostly six/five blades.
