hi fellow members, i need advice buying these two lenses.

1. Carl Ziess Jena S Electric 200 mm f 2.8
working condition with some dings, but the glass was in great shape
Around 60$

2. Jupiter 21m 200 mm f4
Great condition,perfect glass
Around 30$

AND i will have to sell my last autofocus canon 50 mm 1.8 to get them...Would it be a wise decision??

i maybe able to haggle the price and get it down to an overall 70ish $?? will it be a good deal?
i am new to MF lenses dont know much abt them, suggestions plz Smile
i am looking for Sntrast, sharpness and colors Wink
i have a Canon 7d body.

Seems a real bargain price. If you can have the Zeiss, he can keep the Jupiter.

Here's a link from a while back, the Zeiss Jena S 200/2.8 sold for 210 Euros and that price was said to be a bargian.

There's one on Ebay right now for $500 USD buy-it-now.

The S stands for Sonnar, i.e a classic famous lens. If you keep it you'll love it, or sell and profit.

Grab that Sonnar ASAP, it's a rare bargain. When you save some money it will be easy to find a new Canon 50/1.8. Laughing

At that price is a no brainer. Hurry up and buy the sonnar. If you don't like it, I will gladly trade my Jupiter 21 + 30€ for it Wink

buy Sonnar only, if you are short on money, take both if you have more.
