Sorry for the lack of pics, but I came cross this monstrous lens at a pawn shop and wasn't sure if it was worth the price, so I wanted to check here. Therefore no pics (he guy seemed angry that I even asked for a price). It is in outstanding physical shape but the aperture blades don't seem to actuate. He wanted $200 USD. What do you guys think? There's virtually no info on this lens from my searching, especially on pricing. Thanks everybody.

I have no idea if it's a good lens or not, but you can get a modern Pentax / Nikon 55-300 for around the same $$$. My guess is, he's overpricing.

I figured as much as it is a zoom and not prime. Hopefully someone else here has real world experience with it and the price
