A short visit to the sea today and a few snaps from the Canon 50mm f1.4
All were shot in RAW and all have had processing on LR.
Here they are.

Thanks fellas.
I took the second to last image and cropped it to show some of the detail that this lens can capture.
Changed it to mono at the same time.

Outstanding! It makes me miss the Pacific when I used to live in Southern California. Here in Houston, the closest I can get is the Big Bath Tub that is the Gulf of Mexico. Pales in comparison on all counts.
I'm a fan of the Canon 50/1.4. I have the SSC version. I've seen it written that the nFD version is somewhat better, but I question this. Which is yours?
Oh, and what camera did you use for these great shots? _________________ Michael

Thanks Michael.
Mine is the older breech lock SSC version and I used it on my Fujifilm X-E1.

Here is a shot from one of the frames yesterday.
It is heavily cropped - getting close to full size - and of course I have worked it a bit in LR.

OK, these are not at the seaside, but they were taken with the Canon 1.4/50 this afternoon so I thought that I would share them here.
