That was my first manual lens that i bought and subsequently fell into the world of manual lenses.
I bought it from Pancolart.
he is guilty , that i have a house full of MF lenses Twisted Evil

I guess this would have been the 'kit lens' of the Yashica SLR's back in the day ? It's an impressive lens.

The only major weakness I find with it is a propensity to flare. I plan on buying a deep metal lenshood for it (55mm thread I believe) to combat that. Otherwise, I am quite pleased

It also suffers pretty badly from purple fringing but you wouldn't notice that except in very high contrast situations.

Lens test before it came into Dean's hands:
