i'm am really starting to like this combo a lot. i didnt really like this lens on my old m4/3 cams or film, but it shines in every situation on the gxr, whether portrait (f1.5), street (f5.6) or landscape (f8.0). here are a few from today, including one of my favorite street shots. comments welcome!

thank you both! i just cannot believe how much changing cameras has meant for the 'unveiling' of these lens's unique character, plus how much its added to sharpness. this lens in particular just has great color and clarity that i was not getting with other cameras. plus the OOF rendering is just about the smoothest, most pleasing ive personally worked with.

Tony, Just to confirm, is yours the module with leica M mount without lowpass filter?

hi hoan
there is only one m mount module for the gxr, and it indeed does not have an AA filter. it also has a series of microlenses specifically designed to bring out the unique character of RF lenses. and it does!
