interesting... i like your shots, but it seems this lens has less sharpness and contrast than the 3.5cm. is that your feeling also?

35mm Biogon is later lens with best Zeiss coating and I think easier to make it than 28mm, I have same impression than you have.

2.8cm f/3.5 W-Nikkor was launched Sep 1st 1952. The 3.5cm f/2.5 W-Nikkor delivers a little bit better overall image quality, certainly as it in the 1950s was not possible to make a 28mm lens perform better than a narrower 35mm.

I agree, the newer Zeiss Biogon 35mm with modern coating delivers far better IQ than lenses which are decades older.
