Does anyone know anything about the Soligor C/D MC 3.5-4.5 Zoom+Macro 35-200mm (for Fujica X mount)?
Serial number is 884602573
I just got it together with some Fujinon lenses for Fujica X-mount and can't find any information about it. I only find the Soligor 35-200 3.8-5.3...My Fujinon-Nex Adapter is on its way, so I can't post photos yet. I'm not sure if I should keep it...I'm sure it will break the lens mount of my Nex in a moment of inattention....
That's the lens:

#2
#3

The 'CD' range of Soligors was their top range, competition to Vivitar's Series 1, and mostly very decent lenses. I have the 70-210 3.5 zoom in the CD Series and it's excellent, my 35 2.8 is also very good.
It's a certainly a lens I would try rather than just get rid of, it might surprise you. _________________ LENSES & CAMERAS FOR SALE.....

Huh, #8 is a mystery. Made in 1984. Could you post photos of DOF scale and focusing lettering so that style can be seen or any other interesting difference. _________________ ---------------------------------

Hi - which adapter did you buy, and does it work properly? We bought a very early one which focuses WAY beyond infinity and doesn't stop the diaphragm down, so we've had to modify it to fix these problems. Hopefully the newer ones are OK. _________________ Dave, HCL |

I'd agree with that, it does have a lot of similarity to the two Kobori / Vivitar zooms I've got. _________________ LENSES & CAMERAS FOR SALE.....

Hey, I've got a Kiwi fotos adapter which is working quite good. Focussing stops at infinity, like it should. But you still need to fix the aperture lever on the lens itself. I fixed it with cut down tubes of a Q-tip and its working pretty good.
One thing that isn not working properly at all with my adapter is the lens release mechanism. I always need to push it manually when mounting a lens so the little pin would snap into the lens mount... _________________ NEX-6

Ours was also a Kiwi, so I guess they've fixed the infinity issue. For the diaphragm, I used a self-adhesive rubber stopper attached inside the adapter, which works for all lenses. _________________ Dave, HCL |
