Saturday 8th June I received in the post 2 reversing rings, one 49mm and one 55mm, the 55mm is purely for the Welmy, the 49mm wil fit a lot of my lenses.

So a little earlier, I just had to attach it to the Carl Zeiss Pancolar 1.8/50.

Here are a couple of results on a breezy day, resized and levels auto adjusted

ISO 200, 1/800 sec, wide open



ISO 200, 1/320 sec, wide open - I tried to stick it up a foxglove flower, must have missed



ISO 200, 1/100 sec, stopped down with the lever on the lens as the shot was taken f5.6



More practice with focusing and using a tripod instead of handheld, I can see this taking up some of my time with the right subject.

Indeed !

I have a reverse ring and i've just finished cleaning and relubing my Pancolar...

Really nice! Now the next step is to add a focus rail and do some focus stacking.
