Hi all,

If someone has a beat up or optically bad Orestegor and wishes to
get rid of it, PM me ....

I was doing great, it was going to be clean and buttery smooth.....
Until i messed it all up.... Embarassed

Just found a beat up one with fungus.....

I'll be getting it soon

I'll have my Orestegor even if it's made out of 2 lenses....

It'll be my FrankenMeyer Orestegor....

Done !! Very Happy

Most body parts and iris from one #3719686
Some parts and all glass from one #4756033

Thoroughly clean ...
As smooth as a Takumar

Though it still looks old and a little ugly, i'm satisfied..... My first overhauled lens.....

I'll stick to opening preset lenses only.... Embarassed

Many, many hours but i had fun.....

Looking forward to trying it in the real world...

Well..... I have just received an Orestegor, but it is missing 10 iris blades.... and the hood. Do you by any chance have these parts spare?

Thanks you!

Yes i do !

It's complete but dismantled.... and you'll be able to salvage at
least a dozen blades, maybe more... The hood is banged up but usable.....

If you want it all or just parts of it, PM me and i'll gladly send it to you....

Super!! Thanks a lot!! I'll take a closer look this week, then I know what I'll need (and if it is worth it) and send you a PM!

Any idea of the shipping costs to the Netherlands... ??

Depending on your choice of parts, there might be a diffence in weight and price.
When your shure of your needs we'll calculate it precisely.

And if your not in a hurry, you could choose the cheapest snail mail....

No hurry! I stumbled upon this lens more or less by accident... I bought 2 Zenits, one with a Helios and one with an Industar, both like new, and the Orestegor 200 came with them!
Now I can sell all my other 200's... this is the keeper for me ! Wink
