Hi!
I took a few photos with a Vivitar 28/2.8 lens recently. It goes to 1:5 macro, has good contrast, and is very easy to use. Recommended. Mine is model K06 (though in M/MD mount), according to Robin Parmar's Great Vivitar 28mm Bestiary. That's a terrific resource, go check it out!
Take a look at these pictures. Raw from the camera, then jpeg conversion with Adobe Lightroom 4. No cropping, and no post-processing other than LR4's minimal sharpening for screen display.
Now for the photos:
#1: baby, solemn. bounce flash. 0.6m. f2.8
#2: baby face. bounce flash. 0.3m. f2.8
#3: sharp customer. 3m. f4
#4: red chair, with some 3-D pop. 3m. f5.6
#5: garden fencing. 12cm. 1:5. f4.
Cheers! _________________ --Glasslover
