Now this was quite a surprise. Despite the ad i still think it's COSINA made: Click here to see on Ebay

Probably Cosina did purchase right to use Kiron brand ? I had same lens labelled to Vivitar, may wasn't 24mm 19mm or similar.

Probably you're right. Those brands registration expired were just waiting to be "stolen".

That;s a Cosina lens alright, I had one, by far the worst 24mm I have tried, was rubbish really with weak colours and contrast.
