I have mixed feelings about wheter I should do the same. The camera body itself is so worn that it looks old if you change the leathers. And in my case the leathers are evenly worn.

I keep one with the old covering and this one replaced by leatherette. The problem wiht the worn one is that spreads a lot of particles that go everywhere and I was afraid of them getting into the mechanisms.

Otherwise the old covering is nice.

I use thin double side adhesive tape, it's reaaly thin and adheres well both to the leatherette and the case. And it's not too difficult to remove with Isopropyl alcohol.
