I got a mixed bag of old lenses other day from a friend of a friends relative, out of back of their garage..( conversation probalby went .. yeah I know an oddball guy who still uses old film cameras, he might take them '')
anyways it was mainly junk (as expected) but this one intrigues me as I have not seen the mount before.. it's on an Auto Sankor 135mm F2.8 lens ... which focuses from 6 foot (1.8M) , glass is fine usual dust.
Only question is what is the mount?
Pin sticks way out for auto diaphragm..
It has an external stop down lever and what seem to be a smaller unlock lever on opposite side
stop down lever??
general view on lens
so any clues much appreciated _________________ Analog Street Photographer based in Dublin Ireland.

This is a Sun made lens, I have the 3.9/200mm big brother of it sat in front of me.
These Suns used the same YS interchangeable mount system as Sigma. Mine has a Miranda bayonet mount on it which is of different design to your lens, but I can confirm, yours is also in Miranda bayonet fitting.
These old Suns are not great lenses, in fact, I think the three I've tried were pretty bad, unacceptable quality unless stopped down 2-3 stops. _________________ I don't care who designed it, who made it or what country it comes from - I just enjoy using it! |
