Interesting find. This is useful as a guide to these very common lenses.
Personal experience with 28-80 zooms is that they aren't bad at the wide end.

I've been very pleased with my Vivitar Series1, 28-90, since purchasing it in the mid 80's. I'm still using it quite often.

The results for the Makinon 28-80 should be lower if mine was a good copy, it was so bad I gave the lens to a charity shop......someone originally paid £100 for it Rolling Eyes

I have a RMC Tokina 28-85/4 that is quite good in Pentax K mount. Im pretty sure its from the early 80's.
