Both the body and the lens seem to work nicely. I got some test shots with the Helios, and they look just fine. The only issue is that for some obscure reason the aperture ring works in the reverse direction: pointing the red indicator to 16 opens the aperture wide open and putting it on 2 closes the iris down to its smallest size. I have some old Russian rangefinder lenses and I always repair them on my own, so, it does not bother me to open the Helios and fix it. But can anybody explain to me how this has happened, and how I can possibly fix it?
P.S. Zenit ET's viewfinder makes my modern DSLR's look like crap. I don't even feel like picking it up anymore...  )

I also had several Jupiters (-8,-3) which wrong aperture value problems (F5.6=F11; F8=F16 etc.) but Helios 44-2 was the only one with fully reversed aperture numbers (F2=F16; F16=F2)
