Jupiter 11a - there appears to be at least two variants - a plain tube shape and a more bulbous version. Does anyone know how the two compare in performance?

I have Jupiter 11A and it's a very very fine lens.

here's how my copy performs (images not postprocessed, except from resizing the left one):

this is how it looks:

As far as I learned the main difference is in the focussing helical. J11A has double helical which allows for focus down to 1m.

I am very pleased with my copy, it was very cheap and it has a great bokeh, sharpness and contrast.

I also have a "new shape" J-11A and it's a very nice lens with lot of blades, nice colors, sharpness and contrats.

I\'m waiting one from Russia. It's M39 Zenit version (silver colour).
