due to Attilas great series with this lens I tried it out this morning. Never used it with the Nex-7 before. Below few samples taken in my wifes garden.

NEX-7 and Hexanon UC AR 4/80-200mm at ISO 100 and f/4

Hi Rolf!
Looks like a very good lens and indeed a great combo with the nex! Is there a lot of PP on this series???

I like them all very much. The first one seemed to jump off my screen. Very nice, indeed.

Thanks all for your friendly comments.

@ Pascal - no Pascal, only my normal PP procedure with mainly ACR and a little curve adjustments and sharpening in PS6

This lens is going to go up in value a lot. Just wait and see.

I love this lens too. I find it's a tiny bit soft wide-open @F4, but at F5.6 it's spectacular. The colours and Bokeh are unbelievable for a zoom of this age - it has such good colours as you can see in Rolf's pics. It's a lot sharper than my Vivitar Series I 70-210 F3.5 with much less flare - if any at all! The MFD is so short, you can almost call it a Macro!

I got mine at $75 in mint condition (I sold my Tokina RMC 70-200 F4 for $55 to get it), except for one ant leg in one of the middle elements (how the hell did it get there?) - which you can't see in pics thankfully. Considering there are lesser zooms for ~$70 it was a steal - Very Happy
