A very nice Tessar-type lens to cover 5x7, or have lots of movement on 4x5
One of the last US-made large format lenses, the last of a great industry. This was one of a very few made (serial no. 222)
The Acutar was apparently a copy of the Kodak Commercial Ektar, and was highly regarded.
