Looks to have good neutal colour rendition, sharp with low abberations. Impressive for such a wide angle.

Best of the 3. Still do not really love the OOF, but by 5,6 seems really very good.

Thankyou for all your comments. Hopefully I will get some chances to use this lens some more this sunday. This week I only have one day off. I also like the neutral coloring from this lens and the rest of the zuikos. All the photos hat were posted went straight from raw to jpeg no adjustments. Sorry for just these close focus pics for now. It was all I could get with the sun and time I had Wink

Hey dont knock it - you had sun. We haven't seen it in over a week now and it could be a weeek longer yet. Rain/snow mix. But it's better than what we used to have back East. Smile Smile Smile

I like your f16 shot. Try f11, sometimes much better.

Here are my Zuiko 21mm f2 trials so far. (html link code funny here)

Bob
do you have any landscapes ?

I don't have any landscapes or succulent plant shots. I just bricked my camera by upgrading the firmware so I can't do any landscape shots for a few days. I have done that before, but this time, bad luck or something. Yellow Brick Road OS from a real brick-and-mortar business. Usually the upgrade stops if the power source goes below a certain voltage. That's OK, but it's crude not to fall back to the other firmware version like other hardware can do.

On the upside, the last firmware upgrade v1.05 gave us ISO 50. It's not sharper like lower film ISO would be, but it removes noise from darks and shadows. Less noise in darks amounts to finer grain in some shots.

All I've heard about v1.06 is not so important improvements.
