I have done that before, but this time, bad luck or something. Yellow Brick Road OS from a real brick-and-mortar business. Usually the upgrade stops if the power source goes below a certain voltage. That's OK, but it's crude not to fall back to the other firmware version like other hardware can do.
On the upside, the last firmware upgrade v1.05 gave us ISO 50. It's not sharper like lower film ISO would be, but it removes noise from darks and shadows. Less noise in darks amounts to finer grain in some shots.
All I've heard about v1.06 is not so important improvements. |
