I'm primarily a landscape and wildlife photographer, so I always have a few telephoto lenses in my pack when out on a hike. I really like using telephoto lenses in many landscape situations to bring a sense of grandeur to the scene.

I'd like to see others use of telephoto lenses in landscapes. I'd think the minimum I think of as a telephoto is in the 70mm range. So post up your telephoto landscapes!

Here are a few telephoto landscapes I've shot over the past year.

This first batch was shot with an old Takumar 135mm F3.5 Preset (silver addition with 42mm filter diameter).

Wow, great shots they look really good. Thats exactly the kind of photographs I like!

Here is my contribution:

Tappenkarsee, Austria, vertical pano stitched from 6 single shots, captured with Pentax K-r & Leitz Elmarit 2.8/135.

Captured with Pentax K-r & Leitz ERlmarit 2.8/135.

Not nearly as good as yours but I hope you like them.
