Nice samples above. I have the 35/1.8 and I like it a lot. The 50/1.8 looks as good maybe even better. It has a distance scale which the 35/1.8 lacks.

It's dirt cheap and awfully good. Mandatory for any Nikon system user, be it DX or FX shooter. Similarly to other Nikkor lenses, CA is not an issue for FX users as the analog to digital converters on FX cameras seem to remove most (if not all) of it when saving RAW files.

Thanks for posting. I have the D and wanted to see a nice gallery of photos shot with it's upgrade. The G has rounded aperture blades? Am I correct?
