This time from Kochi prefecture and Tokushima prefecture

Same gear as before. D3000 with the Ais 24/2.8 and 50/1.8. Converted and resized the raw files in View NX2. They look a little soft because I didn't sharpen in photoshop. Usually I do my edits in photoshop, then resize, and finally do a gentle "smart sharpen" on the resized image.

Kochi

Tokushima

The first five were taken in the Iya Valley area. I arrived there mid morning and stayed for a few hours while waiting for a connecting train. Unfortunately the light was bright and harsh. It would be an amazing place to photograph in the rain or mist.

Thanks for looking Very Happy

Why the last, as you are giving us such a wonderful tour and series of photos.

Its not like most of us can go there, and just get these photos ourselves Cool

Sure. I quite like this shot too. Actually I was waiting for train to go over the bridge but the trains in this area are very infrequent (One every couple of hours or so). So I gave up. Naturally as I was walking away from this spot a train came along...
