I'm really happy with these results, so much sharper than my last couple of rolls, and exposed perfectly - the Konica A4 is a wonderful little camera, absolutely eclipses the others I've tried lately.

Development was spot-on too, I didn't do any PP at all on these shots, they were already great in contrast, tonality and sharpness.

Agree, IQ seems to be up there with the Ricoh FF series.

I think the camera is out-performing the film. The grain pattern in the sky areas is quite unattractive and detracts from what would otherwise be a good set of shots.

Gotta love that Rover, what a great car. The pictures show the cars details nicely.

However, the Rover/Dad shots are great.

Interesting, thanks for the feedback guys. I wasn't bothered about the grain, it looked okay to me, but it's simple to remove it with noise reduction. I always apply PP to my film shots - sharpen then noise reduction and I've found that the effect somethings isn't appealing to me as it can smear fine detail, so I didn't apply any to these A4 shots as I liked them as they were.

Here's a shot where I did some noise reduction, it's pretty much removed the grain on the sky, perhaps this looks better?

I have switched from using Fomadon LQR to Fomadon LQN, as I find the LQN gives a nicer tonality for most subjects (LQR is a contrast increasing dev) but it also seems LQN is giving more grain.

To illustrate what I mean about noise reduction and smearing, here's a shot from my next roll through the A4, first one is no PP, second one has been sharpened then noise reduced, which looks better?

What do you prefer about the one with PP?
