Obscure (to me) film developing processes

So I lucked out recently and found that down the street from me, quite literally, is a photo shop that processes ANYTHING except Kodachrome. They process (in-house) Seattle Film Works, ECN-2, and ECP (I think) as well as some other processes. However, it's not what I would define as economical. SO what I'm wondering is this: Have any of you who have developed film other than monochrome at home ever developed ECP or ECN?

I recognize that ECP is a process for non-rem-jet-coated motion picture print film. Will C-41 chemicals work on it?

ECN is for similar film but with rem-jet. I expect that C-41 would not work on it.

The specific films are Kodak 2383 (ECP) and 5207 (ECN.) I managed to pick up about a half-mile of the 2383 and 200 feet of the 5207. Why? Because that's, what, 500 rolls of film and it was less than I spend commuting to work each week. So why not? Very Happy

that´s a great thing, lucky you:) motion picture film is cheaper, but it´s almost impossible to find someone who develops ECN-2 films - at least in europe.

You can try E6 kit for processing slides. It's called cross-process i think, but don't ask me too many details Wink

E6 is for processing slide film, if you put a neg film through it then thats cross processing.

It may work with this film.
