Is it RF-coupled? If yes could you please tell more about the modifaction or where you get it etc.? I'm currently bidding on an Canon 50/1.4 ltm but this might be a great alternative, if it's RF-coupled.

yes, it is RF coupled, and it is spot on.
a fellow member of rangefinderforum.com modified the lens so it could use an m-mount adapter. he used the pentax lens because it has near perfect flange distance to use the m-mount adapter. whether he will make them for sale, i do not know. couple of threads at RFF show the process. as far as i know, the canon slr lens cannot be modified in that way.
