I met my friends in different city, I didnt think that they arranged a photo session with a model. I was with my son Razz
So here it is.
Her name is Mega, all shot with NEX5 and Cosmicar 75/1,4 maybe f2 or 2,8

this lens certainly is great for portraits, I have seen real stunners and it is so small.
a bit Biotar like?
unfortunately it already is sold for quite a steep price

on the first one, is it because of the lens not being sharp towards the corners that made her face look soft?

yes indeed, like some c mount lenses, no sharpness in edges.
I agree it behave like biotar

Nice.
Seems like it has field curvature. The bridge looks sharp at the edge.

lovely rendering, this lens is perfect for portraits, though of course one has to deal with extremely narrow DOF.
