Just finished processing and scanning a roll of Adox CHS 50 Art film. Shot with the Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 35mm/2.8 on a Chinon CX camera. My cheap flatbed scanner (Epson V300) is absolutely horrible. It can't even focus on the negative properly, so viewed at 100% all photos are blurry. Sad

Also when developing the film I accidentally opened the tank for a moment, so a bit of light came in and polluted the negative. Each frame has some light streaks along the bottom, so I had to crop each one to about 80%. Sad

I developed in Adonal 1+100 for an hour without agitation except for the first 30 seconds or so (stand development). I don't know why the photos came out so grainy. Adox CHS 25 with stand development was completely clean and smooth as silk. I don't think the 50 is that much grainier, I probably just underexposed or overdeveloped or something. Sad

Live and learn as they say. This is only my 7th self developed roll of film, so I'm still learning. Smile Anyway, here are some of the frames from this roll. Aside from cropping, some have been also processed beyond what I understand is allowed in the B&W film gallery, that's why I'm posting in the digital gallery:

I think the grain work well in the 12th picture. The grain adds some very nice texture to the image.
