all 4 parts of your series is very good, but my fav is this one ....these are the places, where i can forget time and problems and just enjoy the day...or night...and you showed it perfect.

thomas thank you so much! this is my favorite series as well, which accounts for the ridiculous number of pix i posted! Embarassed

i was so taken by the 'outdoors' quality of french culture--cafe society and all that, outdoor markets and such--that i wanted to capture the feel of it. we spent a significant time in paris with the goal of getting the 'feel' of living like a parisian, and i think we accomplished that. hopefully this series reflects that.

Very nice photos!

When you live there (Paris), you often forget how it can be interesting to take street photos in this place.

Indoors or outdoors, that X100 in your hands performs brilliantly!
I love the lightining on #4, and the clean and properly saturated colours in all shots.
#26 is outstanding, the feeling of speed everywhere vs the quiet face of the woman riding the bike...

Nice report!.

thanks jes. the X is just such a great tool. it does so many things so well. for its size i find the clarity throughout the frame simply outstanding. and to me, the b&w approximates film more than almost any other digi ive had.
