After seeing Jussi's Super Memar pix, I've been after one of these. Some years ago I let one slip
away, but just won this:

Click here to see on Ebay

No telling what shape it's in, but will have it CLA'd if needed (probably, lol).

Very interesting camera.
I hope they have better bellows then most Agfa folders for 6x9 and 6x6 from the same era.

Pre-WWII Agfa folders had good leather bellows.
I have an early Isolette like that.

I have the 50/2 Solagon on my Super Memar. Nice lens.

Solagon is a 6 element lens and has a high reputation, look forward to seeing some results. Smile

Thanks, folks, I hope I can put a roll through it after cleaning, will see.

Karat IV finally arrived, today. Will take it tomorrow to the shop for cleaning. Debating on whether to
install light seals, rather odd architecture with double rails in this camera, maybe not needed.

Glass looks clean and clear.

Some test pix using Fuji Xtra 400>320, CVS processing/scans:

First pic was at f8, better result maybe at f11 or f16.

Need to see about a hood.

I think this is a very good result from an old 35mm camera, I got far more worst result from my 35mm Kodak folder.

Attila, thanks, no where as brilliant as Jussi's Super Memar pix, but will
try another roll, see how it goes.
