I took this lens out to see how it handled after reading a few posts about these short zoom lenses.I don't find it especially sharp or particularly like the lens itself,
But I liked the images it produced from this walk.Once I discovered the great reflections in the lake I was captivated.. LaughingI have PP'd
and cropped these.

#1 Not sharp but shows a little pop?

#2

#3

#4

#5

#6 Upside down reflection

#7 Purely about the clouds and blue sky.

#8 Only in Australia??...thankfully there were no speedo clad Santas today.

When I look at these, I feel a desire to push the contrast slider, push the shadow area curves, push the vibrance and or clarity sliders in Lightroom. Shadows have a smoky look, and the colors seem dull. Could be a lot of veiling flare in the lens.

Looks a bit soft, low contrast and lacking in punch, sorry to say. Ansochrome is probably right about the veiling flare.

I think on digital IQ can be fixed easily by using RAW. I bought same lens and I'm waiting it. Mo, what is serial number of the lens? My lens made by Kiron.

The serial number starts with 22,I hope my images do not put you off liking your lens.
