Found this Rolleimatic at a camera show over the weekend for $20. It appears to be working and is in clean condition.

It's an unusual design by the same man who designed the Rollei 35, A110 and others -- Heinz Waaske.

Lens is a Tessar-like 38/2.8 Rolleinar HFT (4/3).

It's small but weighs a hefty 12 oz and the build seems of high quality.

The unusual part is that clamshell-like lens cover. It slides sideways to reveal the lens but is also tilts froward and back to advance the film and set the shutter. And it is also used to extend or retract the lens. It's a double stroke advance. Shutter release is very quiet (quieter than the film advance sound).

Focus is manual via pictorial zones or a feet/meter scale. Exposure is programmed auto without flash or aperture-select with flash. Uses one PX28 battery. Made in Singapore.

It looks brand new! Have you taken any photos with it yet?

Wow, what a deal. I think $100 USD, would be the absolute minimum for that cam. The guides depending on exact condition would probably be in the $150-200 range.
It's a beauty. Hope you post some shots taken by it. Smile
