A Registration distance guide for the NEX mount?

I just bought an NEX-5N and was thinking of buying some MF lenses for everyday movie recording, possibly the jupiter-8 as a starter since I heard the silver version doesn't have click aperture which is good for movie recording.

But then I did some searching on google and found that there are registration issues when using rangefinder lenses on DSLRs. I am not exactly sure what it means but only that it doesn't have infinity focus. Hence, before buying a lens, I want to make sure which mounts are can retain infinity focus on the NEX and which don't.

I read this table: http://www.graphics.cornell.edu/~westin/misc/mounts-by-register.html

It saids "moving upward means that a simple adapter is impossible for an unmodified camera and lens while retaining infinity focus."

Since both the M39 and M42 mounts are above the Sony E mount, does it mean all M39 and M42 mounts are impossible to retain infinity focus on an NEX camera unless the camera or lens is modified?

More specifically, if I am planning to buy a silver jupiter-8 with M39 mount, is it not going to retain infinity focus with a normal NEX 5N and a typical M39 - Sony E mount?

Thanks!

Sony Nex has a registration distance of 18mm, So you can mount most lenses that have a greater registration distance. Providing they make an adapter for it.
So Leica thread mount, M39, Nikon , Olympus, Canon FD, Minolta Md, Pentax k, M42, Etc, work fine, and you do get infinity.
