Here an indoor shot of maybe the best distiilery at Austria with D800 and Nikkor 4/16-35mm at ISO 3200 f 5.6 and 22mm focal length

Nice lighting! Cool look. I wonder if "Recovery" could have brought out some more detail tho?

Yes, of course it could. But you will lose then the cool look and the special lighting.
