I have so many 135mm lenses, and several that I like that I have been playing with, that I have not used my favorite of them all in quite a while. It was nice getting reacquainted with it this past weekend. Some images not so great, but I'm a sucker for bokeh...

This is... not bad at all. Great bokeh but still missing some of the sharpness. Maybe is just the web and mflenses compression and they are totally different when zoomed in, but still great images.

[OT: Well, I'm a sucker for smooth bokeh, which the VS1 135/2.3 generally provides quite nicely, but I also recognize that some others like various "busy" or "swirly" forms of bokeh, too.]

[And, as for "so many 135mm lenses", I (surprisingly) note that I am ~now~ down to "just" the Pentax K 135/2.5, the Vivitar 135/2.8 CF, and the VS1 135/2.3...]

My main point (or question, actually) is, though, were these shot all wide open, or...?

To my knowledge, yes. The breezes and gusts of wind make it difficult to docus up close and fully open, but I'm pretty confident I got #6 perfectly.
