A few attempts with and without a reverse lens. And without a flash which is not ideal even with a good sunshine. We must get very close to the subject with this gear (i would say around 3 cm ) and i often get the lens shadow over it.
Reverse lens is a hexanon 50mm 1.4 WO and set to infinity. iso 400 and 500.

Pretty good. The first two are the best.

I love the pill bug captures because I love pill bugs. I never realized how many colors their carapaces have.

The pîll bug was like glued and my lens was touching the stone wall , i had the time to focus without checking. Without flash i have an issue with the focus because i check too much and the shutter is too low , unless i open to the max but no DoF on macro is pretty useless.

Must be a difficult setup to use, were those handheld?

Encouraging results, looks like fun!
