all photos wide open!
this is a stunning lens it's sharp, contrasty, has rich colors and very little CA, I love it already even though it can reach only ~4m on my Nikon

I was in same boots 5 yrs before I had Nikon D50 and I bought a Konishiroku Hexanon 100mm f2.8 pre-set lens for peanuts due incompatible mount I did try it out with Nikon D50 I was lost I bought lenses and wait three years for Panasonic G1 for proper mount.

Seems indeed a great lens, agree with you about the rich colors Shocked !
Do you mount this lens on your Nikon without modification?? I have an Hexanon 1.8/52mm and it doesn't fit the cam (and I don't want to damaged the mount of my D700!) but it can be mounted on macro rings so I will give it a try as macro lens Very Happy ...

I have a hex 57/1.4 and it doesn't mount as nicely as this 135... I'll have to study the lens first before I modify it, unfortunately 57/1.4 has an appointment with a doctor Sad after rescuing him from an open sale where he was lying with his brothers and sisters on the sun (!)... but that's another story Wink I'm just regretting not buying the other two hexanons 50/1.4 and a couple of other beautiful lenses Mad
