Olympus 35 DC

Got this cute thing from local flea-market for 20 €. Works good, perfect lens, even had live battery and working sealing. Very unnoticable for street photography.

Film counter is strange, counts 2/3rds of a frame and film gaps are slightly larger than normal which is not a great problem since I'll be using it primarily for b&w stuff.

Here is the question: What is the GN-dial on top of the camera that changes 10-14-20-28-40 meters?

Congrats, nice fast lens! That is a Guide Number dial for flash. Set it to match the DIN of
whatever film you are using. Did it come with OEM flash?

Butkus has the RD manual:

No I left it there, usually they don't work. I think I'll go and see if it is still there tomorrow.

Now I got the flash too "Electronic flash T20". Is it the right one? Really nice looking small flash anyways.

Have you tried it with batteries? Should work just fine, if it fires up.

you mean this one?

http://olypedia.de/T20

it is designed as part of the OM system, but should work fine on your 35DC as it is just standart flash

anyway congrats for a great camera - the lens is just wonderfull;)

Flash is really really nice, I started using it with my Kodak. Olympus is really really nice too, I feel 15 years old!
