The camera isn't worth that much (great camera though) but its a more than fair price for the lens even on US ebay.

I suppose that depends on what your needs are. That is really old stuff.

On mflenses, thats not old stuff at all.
That camera and lens are from 1966-1972 or so.
Its fairly modern actually, compared to what we commonly deal with.
We do retro stuff deliberately.
And old "normal" lenses compare very well with their modern equivalents, and often have a more pleasing rendering.

The price is rather good on Euro ebay for the 58/1.4 Rokkor.
It would be a fair price in the cheaper US ebay.

Well the seller is open to offers, but with my Minolta SRT and 58mm f1.4 lens I can get results near to an expensive DSLR Wink

Nice price for that combo!

I have a more pedestrian Minolta Rokkor MC PF 55mm 1.7 - but it's one of my favourite lenses with excellent sharpness and super-bokeh - and I say that despite having Konica-Hexanon/Minolta Rokkor-X/Yashica ML 50/1.4's. Would love a 58/1.4. Smile

Those scalloped focus rings are gorgeous to touch (nothing perverse!) with a perfect damping. My friend who's a pro videographer literally squealed with excitement at the focus action.
