As stated in the title Bill (Katastrofo) Sent me this camera as an added extra...I seriously think this camera can do better than what I have done with it...plus I think a better photoshop to get the film developed would be handy as well. Very Happy Some of the blurring of backgrounds I assume would be through the development error not camera?

#2

#3 The local policemans house

#4 Am I too close and stuffed the focus?

#5 Note the smudging /blur in the background....how would this happen?

Moira, yes, I sent a proved and tried camera to you, here are a few from
the same camera:

I got a roll back from my Canon A-1 where most of them looked like
I took it with a toy camera with plastic lens. The lady that generally
does the processing was off sick and I stupidly let her substitute do
them. On mine it looked like tired fixer was the culprit.

In the one pic of the camera on tripod you have to be something like 2.5
to 3 feet away to get good focus.

Try some black and white and develop the roll yourself. I think you will
like what you see (I hope Smile ).

When you got the box did it look like it was dropped or mishandled?

I like your 2 and 3, it shows the promise of the lens, which is a razor.

Bill is a one-man Ricoh FF gang, on a global scale. And these are worthy cameras, very much. Moira, I suspect the scans are letting you down, try the trick I explained in the other thread on these and they will come out much better.

No all was fine thanks,
Bill I was not questioning the camera Embarassed ...I phrased it wrong what I was suggesting was my error in not using the camera correctly...which It looks like I was partly to blame (as seen in photo 4...I thought I was a little close...arggghhh) as well as poor scanning.
I guess it is one area I will have to venture into if I want to carry on with film....That is home development and scanning.

I hauled a Ricoh FF-3AF up two big wall climbs in Yosemite. It delivered beautiful Kodachrome 64 slides. And my FF-90 has been every bit as good.
