I have the Tessar and Cardinar lenses, both really excellent.

I just need to find a Werra to use them with. Most I see on ebay UK are the earlier ones without RF and often not working.

I remember reading that when the German Zeiss workers returned from the USSR in the 1950s they were given carte blanche to design a new camera and the result was the Werra.

I have been attracted to these since the first time I saw one (years ago), but I never bought one. Even more precisely, I never BID on one. I have a Werra search "saved" on Ebay and every so often I check to see what is available. I am attracted to all of them; I, II, III, IV, V, and the Werramatics, too! Now, I'm in trouble. I'm going to look at your links and I will be going nuts, for sure. Shocked

I have two Werra 3 plus the three lenses but have hardly used them until now. When I saw them new I was very interested, but did not trust the filmtransport with its odd sound. How could that construction be durable?
I was wrong, that is clear now!
Because I use them not frequently enough I have some trouble to choose the richt framing in the viewfinder, forgetting the lens I am using. Need to pick them more, the lenses are excellent.
